Tianjin Medical University traces its history to 1951. Its International School was established in 1997. English-taught health degrees include six-year Clinical Medicine, six-year Dentistry and four-year Nursing. The existing campuses include Qixiangtai Road and Guangdong Road; the Tuanbo campus in Jinghai is under construction.

Entry requirements.

• Nationality, education and health

  Non-Chinese; completed high school or a higher qualification, excellent results, good conduct and physical/mental health; comply with Chinese law and university rules.

• Age assessment

  Applicants should be under 25. FirstLiners assesses eligibility for applicants aged exactly 25 before submission.

• English

  IELTS at least 6.0 or TOEFL at least 80. Recognised native English speakers and applicants with qualifying English-medium international-school education may receive an exemption. FirstLiners reviews the supporting evidence before submission.

• CSCA

  English degrees require Mathematics plus Physics or Chemistry. Scores must meet the programme’s admission requirements.

• Chinese-origin nationality history

  Chinese-origin applicants must meet the four-year foreign-nationality rule and have spent at least two of the previous four years abroad. Former Chinese citizens provide naturalisation and citizenship-renunciation evidence, plus four years of overseas visa and study records. • CSCA requires Mathematics plus Physics or Chemistry.
• Applicants aged exactly 25 and nationality-history cases need an individual eligibility review.

• China-based student records

  If already studying in China: passport visa page, current university’s no-objection/transfer-permission letter and no-disciplinary-violation certificate.
