China university application documents: prepare your file
Prepare your passport, school records and the additional documents required for your programme.
Plan my study journey →
Begin with identity and school records.
Prepare a clear passport information-page scan, graduation certificate and complete school transcripts. Use the passport spelling of your name consistently. Include all relevant pages and make sure grades, subjects, dates and document stamps are readable.
If you are still studying, check whether the programme accepts school-issued pre-graduation evidence and when the final certificate is required. A sample or blank form is not evidence of your qualification. Keep original documents together for later checks.
Add programme-specific evidence.
Your chosen degree may require accepted language results, a CSCA score report, a personal statement, recommendations, health records, police records or financial evidence. These are not identical for every university, programme or student.
Check the accepted language certificate and any exemption conditions. Where CSCA is required, prepare the subject combination and test language for the actual degree. A checklist for MBBS should not automatically be used for dentistry, pharmacy or another course.
For documents issued in another language, keep the original and the required English or Chinese translation. Certification requirements vary. The scan used in the application and the original produced at registration should match.

Check names, passport details, dates and qualification titles across your documents. Review missing pages and unclear scans. Keep a simple record of what is ready, what is missing and which questions need your FirstLiners adviser’s review.
Use the preparation sheet to organise the information and notes you enter. Review it before downloading. It does not create school credentials, signatures, medical certificates or an admission decision.
Share private identity and financial documents through the secure channel agreed with your FirstLiners contact. The public enquiry on this website prepares a message; it does not upload the file or submit a university application.
Common preparation questions.
Can one document checklist fit every university?
No. Start with the selected programme’s requirements and add the conditions relevant to your case. Keep each programme’s language, assessment and document requirements together.
Should I change a name to match another record?
Use your passport identity and explain a genuine discrepancy to FirstLiners. Do not alter an official record to hide a difference.
What should I do when evidence is missing?
Record the missing item in your preparation checklist and discuss the acceptable next step with your adviser. Do not substitute invented details.

The university documents below support the preparation guidance. They describe the 2026 cycle and do not announce an open 2027 intake. FirstLiners catalogue fees and current public service descriptions provide the study-planning context.
