Qingdao University’s medical education traces its roots to 1909. Its six-year English-taught Clinical Medicine programme combines medical-school and hospital training. Medical teaching covers basic and clinical medicine, alongside dentistry, public health, pharmacy and nursing. Basic-medical teaching facilities and clinical-training platforms support practical study.

Entry requirements.

• Nationality and age

  Non-Chinese citizen with ordinary passport; at least 18 years old.

• Academic record

  High-school completion; average above 75% and every subject above 60%.

• Entrance assessment

  CSCA Mathematics and Chemistry scores required.

• English

  English-study records or standardized test certificate. Native English speakers or pupils taught entirely in English may use school-issued English grades and medium-of-instruction proof.

• Health and conduct

  Physical and psychological fitness; no criminal record.

• Former Chinese nationals

  Passport/citizenship before 30 April 2022, cancellation of Chinese nationality, and two years overseas residence during 30 April 2022–30 April 2026; nine months can count as one year.

• The academic average must be above 75%, with every subject above 60%. Exact-threshold results require an individual eligibility review.
• Bring the required originals and final qualification on the date in your Admission Notice.

• Highest qualification

  Chinese or English original or notarised copy of your highest qualification. Current students may initially use expected-completion proof; bring the final original qualification to registration.

• Academic transcripts

  Chinese/English originals or notarized copies for the highest qualification and any higher study attended. Academic average above 75%, with every subject above 60%. Exact-threshold results require individual eligibility review through FirstLiners.

• CSCA score report

  Valid Mathematics and Chemistry results.

• English evidence

  English-learning records, a standardised test certificate or eligible school-issued exemption evidence. Native English speakers and pupils taught entirely in English may provide the school’s English grades and medium-of-instruction proof.

• Financial guarantee

  Financial-guarantee statement and the sponsor’s passport information page or identity document. Keep the sponsor’s identity evidence with the signed guarantee.

• Physical examination

  English Foreigner Physical Examination Form with every test, sealed photograph, physician’s signature and hospital stamp. Valid for six months; retain the original.

• Police clearance

  Valid local-authority police certificate, normally issued within six months before applying.
