Hebei Medical University traces its history to Beiyang Medical School, founded in Tianjin in 1894. It moved to Shijiazhuang in 1958. Its six-year English-taught Clinical Medicine programme awards the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. Clinical teaching includes its First, Second, Third and Fourth Affiliated Hospitals and Hospital of Stomatology.

Entry requirements.

• Age and citizenship

  Foreign undergraduate applicants aged 18–25.

• Academic qualification

  High-school graduation or higher qualification; GPA at least 3.2. Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology each above 70.

• CSCA

  Mathematics and Chemistry; official results due 1 July 2026.

• English

  English-speaking-country applicants are exempt from the English test. English-medium education applicants submit an English teaching certificate and attend an English interview. Others need TOEFL above 90, IELTS above 6.0, or the university entrance examination.

• Health and conduct

  Good health and conduct, compliance with Chinese laws and programme entry conditions.

• GPA at least 3.2 is required, with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology above 70. Exact-threshold academic or English results require an individual eligibility review.
• The study plan and two recommendations for postgraduate admission are not undergraduate MBBS requirements.
• Financial proof must show a bank balance above RMB 100,000. This is not an extra fee.
• CSCA Mathematics and Chemistry are required. Provide financial evidence showing more than RMB 100,000 and a 3–5 minute introduction video. The study plan and expert recommendations apply to postgraduate applicants only.

• Bank deposit certificate

  Balance above RMB 100,000. This is proof of funds, not an extra fee.

• Self-introduction video

  Three to five minutes, with fluent speech and a clear picture.

• CSCA score report

  Mathematics and Chemistry results before your application deadline.
