Fudan University began its English-taught MBBS in autumn 2008. The six-year programme combines medical sciences, Chinese and Medical Chinese, clinical medicine and practical training. Students must complete the required credits and meet the degree standards to receive the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. Overseas clinical internships are available to selected students.

Non-Chinese ordinary-passport holders with high-school graduation or higher qualification, university-entry eligibility, good health and no criminal record. Relevant Chinese-origin nationality circumstances require additional citizenship and residence evidence.
TOEFL 90, IELTS 6.5, Duolingo 110 or PTE 61; evidence valid for two years. Native English or qualifying English-medium high-school education may support exemption.
MBBS requires Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, all in English, plus interview. FirstLiners coordinates the accepted test session. IOGG, Economics and Fintech require Mathematics; Data Science and Big Data Technology requires Mathematics and Physics.
Applicants under 18 on 1 September 2026 need an adult mainland-China guarantor with stable income. Other English degrees have their own application requirements.
