Anhui Medical University began in Shanghai in 1926, moved to Anhui in 1949 and settled in Hefei in 1952. English-taught programmes include six-year Clinical Medicine and four-year Pharmacy.

Scholarship options.

• Anhui Provincial Government Scholarship

  Selected bachelor students receive RMB 20,000. Admission does not automatically include this award.

• ASEAN Scholarship

  Eligible bachelor applicants from ASEAN countries can receive tuition, study-material fees and hostel coverage, plus RMB 10,000 per year for living expenses. Apply with FirstLiners; scholarship benefits are added to your payment plan after selection.

Scholarships depend on eligibility, selection and any required review. Plan for the full fees until an award is granted; fee subtotals do not include scholarship deductions.

Entry requirements.

• Age and academic qualification

  Applicants must be aged 18–28 and hold a high-school diploma or equivalent.

• Nationality, health and conduct

  Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in sound physical and mental health, of good character, and able to follow Chinese law and university rules. The relevant international-student nationality requirements apply.

• English

  Provide TOEFL 80 or IELTS 6.0. Previous English-medium education requires certification; native English speakers are exempt from the English-proof requirement. Supply the appropriate evidence for the route on which you rely.

• CSCA

  All undergraduate applicants take CSCA and submit Mathematics and Chemistry scores.

• Clinical Medicine and Pharmacy require CSCA Mathematics and Chemistry.
• A delayed arrival requires advance approval and normally may not exceed fourteen days, except for force majeure.
• Age 18–28; high-school diploma; IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 80. English-taught or native-English evidence follows university rules.

• Foreigner Physical Examination Form

• Non-criminal record certificate

  Official certificate of no criminal record, issued for your application.

• Originals for arrival

  Bring the original application and admission documents for verification on arrival.

  Send FirstLiners your CSCA Mathematics and Chemistry results and full academic, language, identity, health and funding file.

• Assessment and admission

  Complete the required assessment. Admitted applicants receive the admission notice and JW202 for the X1 visa. Follow your programme-specific payment instructions.

• Arrival

  Bring original application and admission documents on the date in your admission notice. A delay needs advance approval through FirstLiners and may not exceed fourteen days. An unapproved or longer delay normally cancels admission, except for force-majeure circumstances.
