Capital Medical University was founded in Beijing in 1960. Its six-year English-taught Clinical Medicine programme awards the Bachelor of Medicine. Biomedical study, laboratory work and diagnostics lead into medicine, surgery, paediatrics and obstetrics and gynaecology. Its affiliated clinical network includes Xuanwu, Beijing Friendship, Beijing Chaoyang and Beijing Tiantan hospitals.
The degree awarded is Bachelor of Medicine. English-taught study covers anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, laboratory and physical diagnostics, imaging, medicine, surgery, obstetrics/gynaecology and paediatrics.
Laboratory learning includes biomedical, pathobiological, immunological and morphology experiments. Clinical study and internship follow the programme curriculum.

Non-Chinese citizens aged 18–30 with a valid ordinary passport, high-school graduation or higher qualification, and qualifying Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry grades.
TOEFL 80, IELTS 6.0 or accepted equivalent evidence. Native-English or documented English-medium secondary schooling may qualify for exemption. CSCA Mathematics plus either Physics or Chemistry and the university selection examination apply.
Suitable eyesight without colour-vision deficiency; normal hearing, smell and expression. Disclose chronic or genetic conditions. Recovery from the applicable infectious and chronic diseases is required; a history of mental disorder affects medical-fitness assessment.
Relevant former Chinese nationals or foreign-born children of Chinese parents settled abroad must have acquired current foreign citizenship before 30 April 2022 and show at least two years outside China between 30 April 2022 and 30 April 2026.

Successful applicants receive the acceptance letter and JW202. Follow the individual visa/registration instructions. University tuition and fees are payable in full annually in RMB; after-registration payments are non-refundable and non-transferable under the enrolment terms.
Late arrival needs approval; two weeks’ delay is treated as withdrawal. Original qualifications, identity and health are rechecked within three months. Transfer to another university after registration is not permitted under the intake terms.
